Cheryl's Kitchen experiments

Almond Butter French Toast

(8 servings)

Ingredients:

6 egg whites

1-tsp Vanilla extract

1/4 cup Coffee mate Sugar Free French Vanilla-Carmel flavor

8 thick slices multi grain bread, cut in half on the diagonal

Olive Oil cooking spray-can use butter flavor

1/2 -tsp almond butter

1/2 tsp s/f maple syrup

Instructions:

In large bowl, beat egg whites. Stir in Vanilla and coffee-mates. Place bread slices in bowl until they evenly soak up the egg mixture. Spray Pam in large frying pan or griddle. Fry bread slices on both sides until golden brown. Serve hot with almond butter smeared on each piece and dripping with s/f maple syrup.
